Electrical and Plumbing

We finally got the electical in...Thanks Chris!

And the plumbing is all set as well. Thanks Jake and Josh!

Finally, the Siding

It took some long days with lots of cutting, but we eventually got all the siding on just before the workers had to leave for the holidays. Good thing too, now the real storms were about to start.

Windows and Trim, Soffiting too.

A couple on the island discovered that they had ordered way too much wood for their garage. Fortunately for us, we were able to reap the benefits of cheap wood and install some beautiful soffiting.

The windows are finally getting put into the house and it's all wrapped up. With a couple of heaters in there one almost mistakes it as cozy. Someday!

The Roofing Begins!!!

The roof is finally going onto the building, which means it's finaly getting to dry out inside.
What a relief!

Let the work continue!

We finally got off the rafters up and started the sheathing. This coincided with the beginning of the rain, which ultimately lasted pretty much 2 months straight, knocking out power numerous times, causing many delays. But, work continues!

We tried to keep it dry in the building using huge tarps, but the building still ended up with the nick-name of the lake house due to the quantity of water amassing inside.

Phase 3: Framing

After the foundation was firmly in place, work began on the framing of the walls, floor, and roof of the project and the first forms of a new house appeared.

Phase 2: Foundation

After completing the removal of the old structure, the site was cleared and excavated so a new foundation could be laid.
